FUN and games filled Truro city centre on Saturday (June 20) with the return of Children’s Day, courtesy of Truro BID and sponsors Coodes Solicitors.

Families enjoyed a packed itinerary of mostly free entertainment and activities. On Lemon Quay there were mountain bike stunt shows and have-a-go sessions in cycling, circus skills, dance and more. Elsewhere there were outdoor board games, kids’ rides, an inflatable obstacle course on Boscawen Street, and in-store activities and offers ranging from free face painting to meal deals.

“It was brilliant to see so many families enjoying activities and entertainment across the city centre,” said Truro BID manager Alun Jones. “Thank you to all the businesses and organisations that took part, and to everyone who came along.”
