A charity cinema night being staged in Newquay promises film fans a ‘reel’ good night for a great cause.
The NSPCC and Trenance Cottages is screening the classic 1973 film The Sting at the Lighthouse Cinema on Thursday, March 19 at 7.30pm.
The £15 ticket, which can be purchased from the cinema, includes a pasty and a glass of wine.
Organiser Jill Willmott said: “We been staging the joint cinema fundraising event for around 10 years now and it is always with classic film.
“This year we've chosen The Sting in memory of Robert Redford.
“It is a great story and Scott Joplin's music is amazing.
“We’ve had sponsorship from Starts, Bookers and Cornish Print but anyone that would like to sponsor the pasties would be appreciated.”
