BURRATON CP School had an action-packed day of fitness, teamwork and determination as pupils took on the 2026 Challenge.

The day featured high-energy events including HIIT workouts, obstacle courses and a tug of war between students and staff, all designed to promote health, wellbeing and perseverance.

A special guest, British indoor rowing champion and international silver medallist Tom Wilson, joined the fun, throwing himself into the activities and cheering pupils on.

The event was organised by the Friends of Burraton to motivate pupils while raising funds for the school. Over £4,000 has already been raised, with proceeds going directly into classroom resources, extracurricular programmes and activities that enrich learning beyond the classroom.

Throughout the day, Tom engaged with pupils, offering tips, encouragement and high-fives, while staff joined in every activity.
