THE biggest celebration of surf and skate culture in the UK in more than 20 years is on the horizon.
The UK Surf & Skate Expo 2025 will be held at Newquay Sports Centre from September 12 to 14.
The event will offer a variety of activities and attractions for attendees including talks, a skate jam and an awards ceremony.
Dogtown and Z Boys skateboarding legend Tony Alva is hosting 'An Evening with Alva' on Saturday, September 13 at 7pm.

Concrete Waves will host the skate jam and GB Skateboarding competition.
The Expo has been built from the ground up by the crew at DYSUJO, with its office based in C-Space, which is off The Crescent near the Killacourt.
Organiser Chris Thomson said: “We love the surf and skate scene across Newquay. It’s our home, and we’re all part of that community. We want anyone to feel like they can turn up to the Expo and feel welcome, connected and have a great time.
“There's so much across the weekend, it's hard to pick one main event. We've got a skate team jumping a VW, UK Junior Surf comp, skate competition, talks with big wave legend Andrew Cotton on how he, almost accidentally, became a pro surfer. Stefani Nuring on building a skate brand, Lucia Griggi from Newquay, one of surfing's finest photographers, on what it takes to make it.

“We're also backed up by more than 65 of the top surf and skate brands from all over the world, who you can interact act with, first-hand, in the Expo village.”
Brands who will be exhibiting at the Expo include Finisterre, Circle One, FCS, Firewire, Florence, O'Neill, Ocean Magic, Ride On, Saltrock, Saxx, Simpel, Sissterevolution, Slowtide, Sun Bum and Super73.
Big wave surfer Andrew Cotton from Devon will be giving a talk will be giving a talk about holding breath work exercises.
Andrew said: “Looking forward to the Expo this year, and hope you're all here to join me for some of the exercises and get along to my talk.”
It is estimated that 10,000 people will pass through the Expo doors across the weekend, bringing a late summer boom and a fresh round of interest to the town, outside of the traditional summer season.
Wavelength Surf Magazine will be hosting the first UK Surfer Awards on Friday, September 12 from 7pm, which will honour surfers in the UK and Irish community at a ceremony. The awards have been voted by the public and will take place in the Expo Hall, at the Wax Gym site in Newquay.
The Expo Village is free to attend across the weekend but the evening with Alva, plus all the other talks, attendees will have to buy a three-day pass.
