OFFICERS investigating a suspected arson attack in Camborne in which two cars were destroyed are appealing for information and CCTV or doorbell camera footage.
The incident happened in St Meriadoc Road at around 3.30am on Thursday, November 20. Police were called to the scene by the fire service which tackled the blaze.
A man aged in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of arson and released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Police Constable Emily Wood said: “We are appealing to residents in neighbouring areas for any CCTV or doorbell footage during the hours of 2.30am and 4.30am on Thursday, November 20 that could help us with our enquiries.
“If you witnessed, heard, or have any footage showing, any activity in the area during these hours that may assist our investigation, please get in touch.
“We would also be interested in hearing from members of the public in the area who may have found discarded items of clothing or equipment in their gardens on November 20.”
