TRURO bus station will be closed for “essential surface works” for a period of four weeks from Monday, February 23.

Transport For Cornwall confirmed the works are to replace and repair the surface through large areas of the bus station that have become “damaged and uneven through continuous years of heavy use”.

All local bus services will be operating from Fairmantle Coach Park (behind Marks & Spencer) for the duration of this closure.

Cornwall Council will supply covered customer waiting areas, temporary lighting and real-time information displays. Go Cornwall Bus will supply staff in line with the usual times that the bus station would be staffed.
