ONE of boxing’s greats is set to give a knockout performance in Newquay.

Frank Bruno MBE is appearing at a special evening being staged at the Atlantic Hotel on Saturday, November 7 at 7pm.

The former world heavyweight champion will share stories from his boxing career.

Brad ‘the Newquay Bomb’ Pauls will host a special charity auction, which will see signed memorabilia auctioned off to raise funds for Cornish charities.

Shane Solomon, who is helping organise the event, said: “Frank will join me on stage to talk about his incredible boxing career from becoming heavyweight champion to his 38 knockouts from his 40 wins.”

‘Big Frank’ will also be recording an episode of Life Stories in the studio in Newquay with Lewis Nicholls during his visit.
