Armed police have descended on a property in Fraddon following concerns for the welfare of a person.
Officers have surrounded the property and Belvedere has been closed in both directions due to the incident between New Road and The Blue Anchor Inn.
A police sniper and a police drone have also been spotted in the area.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers are in attendance at a property in Fraddon following reports of concern for a person in a house.
“The incident is ongoing and we’ll provide further information when we can.”
