POLICE are investigating a burglary at Superdrug in Saltash after the store was targeted in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Officers were called following reports that entry to the store had been forced and a number of items stolen.

The incident happened during the early hours of Tuesday, September 22, with enquiries now under way to establish exactly what happened and identify those responsible.

The store, which is located in the Fore Street, was also the subject of a similar incident just over six weeks ago, when it was targeted on August 9.

Police have now appealed to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or captured relevant footage to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam, doorbell or other footage which could assist the investigation.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We have been made aware following a report of a burglary at Superdrug in Saltash in the early hours of Tuesday 22 September.

“It was reported entry to the store was forced and various items stolen. Enquiries are ongoing.”
