POLICE officers are appealing for the assistance of the public to identify a man following an aggravated burglary in central Truro.

Shortly before 10pm on Sunday, June 28, two males entered an address in Daubuz Court though a window, attacked an occupant with a hammer and stole property from within. The victim did not sustain any serious injury.

Two men in their 30s were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and released on police bail.

Investigating officers are keen to identify and speak to the man pictured as it is believed he too may be able to assist with enquiries about the incident.
