TWO masked men reportedly stole food from a delivery driver during a knifepoint robbery in Indian Queens.

The pair threatened a delivery driver with a knife while demanding his food bag which contained pizza, kebab and a cheeseburger meal in Pocohontas Crescent on Wednesday, November 12 at around 9pm. They also took £6.50 from the cash float.

They fled the scene while the victim, who was physically unharmed, sought help and reported the incident to police.

A police spokesperson said: “Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a knife-point robbery of a delivery driver in Indian Queens.

“We were called to reports that two masked men threatened a delivery driver with a knife while demanding his food bag which contained pizza, kebab and a cheeseburger meal, also taking £6.50 from the cash float.

“We are carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area and checking local CCTV to locate the suspects. Both are described as male and were dressed in dark clothing.”
