EMERGENCY services descended in Newquay after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.
Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team and Devon & Cornwall Police were tasked to assist the ambulance service with an incident on the Barrowfields on Monday, March 9 at 3.40pm.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were notified by HM Coastguard of a report of concern for the welfare of a man in the Barrowfields area of Newquay.
“The incident was safely resolved a short time later.
“This was an ambulance service-led incident.”
A spokesperson for Newquay Coastguard added: “All assets were stood down once the incident was resolved.”
