Western League premier division leaders Saltash United were left without a fixture this weekend after opponents Ashton & Backwell reported their pitch was frozen.

And on Saturday morning, Millbrook's game with Street was postponed after the anticipated thaw after a heavy frost failed to materialise and the Jenkins Park pitch was still frozen by mid morning.

In the South West Peninsula League, St Dennis reported that their pitch had not recovered from the snow of earlier in the week so their premier west fixture against Mullion was off.

Later in the morning Callington Town's game against Penzance was postponed because of a frozen pitch.

In rugby, Redruth's trip to Newport in National 2 West and Camborne's game at Lydney in Regional 1 South West were both postponed.
