The Cornish Pirates will play their final Pool C game in the Championship Cup on Saturday when they travel to Ampthill (2pm).
The Pirates have already secured a place in the semi-finals, having won their previous five group games with bonus points.
Last weekend they overcame Caldy 52-5 and they need just a point at Dillingham Park this week to guarantee a home tie in the last four.
The Pirates have made changes to their starting XV from the one that face Caldy seven days early.
Carwyn Penny is selected at full-back, Robin Wedlake is named on the right wing, with Rory Parata lining up to partner Shae Tucker in the centre, and there are returns to the side for Arwel Robson at fly-half and for Cory Teague, who is this week selected at blind-side wing forward. Finally, Harvey Beaton starts at tight-head prop.
Cornish Pirates’ joint head coach Gavin Cattle said: “The cup is something we have focused on to in part help develop our squad and at the same time to do well in it. I do feel we have kept consistency in selection and given boys opportunities that we have seen have been taken.
“Our aim from the outset has been to strive to reach the semi-final, hopefully and ideally at home, and to then see what happens from there. It would also naturally give us a focus to the end of the season.
“Concentrating though on Saturday, we naturally expect a tough examination against what is a tricky Ampthill side and we can’t take anything for granted.”
