SEVEN talented riders from Camborne Science & International Academy (CSIA) have represented the school with pride at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Championships, held at the iconic Hickstead Showground in West Sussex.

Competing across five national finals in both show jumping and arena eventing, the CSIA equestrian team – Amber J, Eleanor N, Lexie-Jayden R, Isla M, Evie M, Poppy H, and Lilia Z, demonstrated exceptional skill, determination and horsemanship.

Accompanied by principal and team manager Emma Haase, supportive parents, and their trusted equine partners, the team set off from Camborne excited to take on a weekend of top-level competition.

Early successes came during Saturday’s warm-up rounds, with standout performances from Lilia and Woodland Archie in the 80cm class, earning 10th place, and Eleanor and Keeva, who also claimed 10th in the 90cm class.

Sunday brought the championship events, with Lexie-Jayden and Sir Inca Jay finishing 12th in the individual 70cm show jumping. In the 80cm Arena Eventing class, Amber, riding Sunny, achieved a fantastic 10th place individually amidst fierce competition, with over 200 riders participating.

On Monday, CSIA's 90cm arena eventing team – Amber, Eleanor, Isla, and Lilia, rode a technical course with poise and precision, with Amber again leading the charge to a superb 6th place individual finish. The 80cm and 90cm Show Jumping teams delivered further strong performances, with Lexie earning an individual placing and the 80cm team finishing 14th overall.
