Bodmin Town completed a long and difficult season in the South West Peninsula League with a 1-1 draw against Mullion at Priory Park.
The result left Bodmin in 12th place, fifth from bottom, having suffered several poor home results in the last month of the campaign.
Bodmin manager Dane Bunney said: “Another football season over and my first with Bodmin. It’s always difficult taking over a side mid season.
“Our target was to just stabilise the club this season to give us a foundation to build on going forward. We achieved this.
“With the inevitable mass change in personnel we were always going to have good and bad days but my young team will have learnt a lot this season.
“Thank you to my team of helpers, Richard Hayden, Neil Mansfield and Josh Oaten.
“Thank you also to the players for their commitment and efforts during the season. They never stopped working even when up against it.”
It was the last game at the club for committee stalwarts Sheila Chapman, and Brian and Sandra Retallack after many years of service.
Bunney said: “Best wishes to Brian, Sandra and Sheila in their retirement. The planning for next season has already begun but for now, time for a rest.”
Former Bodmin striker Dan Jennings, who left the club last summer to join Liskeard Athletic, has won the SWPL Premier West division Golden Boot award.
He has 35 goals, with the Walter C Parson Cup final against Okehampton Argyle to come on May 13.
