A MAN reportedly robbed two people in Newquay town centre late at night.

Police confirm two men were approached by a man in Cliff Road who threatened them before they handed over various belongings.

This incident happened on Wednesday, May 21, at around 11.50pm

The suspect is described as being a man in his mid-20s, around 5ft 8ins tall, with some facial hair. He was wearing a black North Face puffer jacket and black cargoes.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were notified following a report of a robbery.

“It was reported two males were approached by a male suspect who threatened them.

“The two victims handed over various belongings before the suspect left the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.”
