Truro Old Boys collected £4,500 for charity on June 8. The money has been divided between Children’s Hospice South West (£1,800), Truro Sea Cadets (£1,000) and Maria's Animal Shelter at Probus (£600), where the men also adopted a donkey named Walter. A £100 donation was made to Paul Caruana for the Truro Civic Awards 2024/25.
Around 150 local men attended, starting with breakfast at the William IV pub followed by a day at the White Hart. Group leader Graham Humphrey said: “It’s an amazing amount raised by an amazing bunch of local lads. The work we do is fantastic and the difference that we make is incredible.”
