A PROLIFIC offender who caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to vehicles will no longer be able to enter parts of Truro after being served with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).

Roger Duque, 39, of St Thomas Close, was made subject of the three-year order at Truro Magistrates Court on Monday, February 9.

He is prohibited from entering or remaining within the area marked in red on the map; making physical contact with, or using an object to make physical contact with, any vehicle without the direct permission of the owner; and wearing any face covering which conceals his face.

Any breaches of the CBO conditions can result a prison sentence.

Duque was previously sentenced to jail time in November 2025 after admitting to causing over £4,000 worth of criminal damage to two cars.

A full closure order was also served at his home address on January 7 this year. The three-month order prevents him from entering the address during this time period. Duque has been signposted to support services whilst the closure order is in place.

PC Richie Wilson said: “Duque’s prolific behaviour has had a significant impact on the local community, with his targeting of vehicles leaving many out of pocket and worried about their cars.

“I’d like to encourage anyone in the affected areas to report to us if they witness Duque not complying with the order. You are the eyes and ears on the streets when we can’t be there.

“I hope this provides some reassurance to local people that this behaviour will not be tolerated. Our teams will continue to work closely alongside residents to protect and safeguard them from further harm.”
