THREE Newquay groups are joining forces to stage a fundraiser to celebrate Easter.
The ladies of the Newquay Thursday Club, The Friends of Newquay Hospital and the Newquay Lions will be hosting a Spring Coffee Morning at the Kilbirnie Hotel on Thursday, March 28, from 10am to noon.
A raffle will also be held with some top prizes up for grabs.
Maggie Biddle from Newquay Thursday Club said: “Whilst enjoying the warm hospitality of the hotel there will be refreshments and various stalls to aid the fundraising of the three groups for their respective charities.
“In addition to a raffle there will be a homemade cake stall and a selection of crafted gifts to buy.
“Prize draw tickets will also be offered to win an accommodation voucher for a three night stay for two people at the Porth Veor Manor Hotel for a choice of bed and breakfast or for the use of a one bedroom luxury self-catering lodge.
“All the proceeds from the draw will be donated to the Newquay branch of the RNLI, which is the nominated charity for the Thursday Club this year.
“Entry to the event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.”
