Three men have been charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection to a serious incident in Redruth on Thursday.

Gavin Smale, aged 43, of Fore Street, Redruth, Paul Amoah, aged 38, of no fixed abode, Camborne and Lee Mitchell, aged 28, of Tresaderns Road, Redruth are due to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court today.

They have also been charged with one count of aggravated burglary following the incident, which happened in a property in Drump Road at around 6.30pm.

A man in his 30s from Redruth was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed until Tuesday, October 10, pending further enquiries.
