A SUCCESSFUL pantomime has raised money for three organisations in a Cornish coastal community.
A spokesperson for the Mevagissey Entertainers said: “Our annual pantomime was performed on March 28 and 29 to large and appreciative audiences at the Jubilee Hall in Mevagissey. This year’s show was Mother Goose and was performed by an enthusiastic group recruited from the local community.
“As well as providing great entertainment, the show also raised money for a number of local charities and groups. This year the groups were Mevagissey School, the memory cafe and the Jubilee Hall.”
Director Sheila Gill said: “We all enjoy putting on a true village pantomime and are happy that as well as giving pleasure to our audiences, our efforts benefit groups in the local community.”
