NEWQUAY’S biggest academy has celebrated the excellence of its students.
Newquay Tretherras staged its KS3 and KS4 awards to honour student progress and achievement.
The ceremonies highlighted two key areas of recognition, greatest overall progress and highest achievers.
The greatest overall progress awards were presented to students who have made the most significant academic and personal development throughout the year.
The highest achievers awarded were presented to one student from each year group who has consistently demonstrated outstanding academic performance and excellence in their studies.
A spokesperson for Newquay Tretherras said: “The awards recognise the exceptional hard work and dedication shown across the academic year.
“These awards are a reflection of the determination, growth, and resilience our students have demonstrated, and it was a privilege to come together as a school community to honour their efforts.
“A huge well done to all of our award recipients. Their achievements are a testament to their commitment and ambition, and they have truly set an example for others to follow. Whether through significant improvement or consistent excellence, each of them has earned their place in the spotlight.
“At Newquay Tretherras, we are committed to recognising not only top performance but also the journey of progress that leads to success.
“These awards reflect the values we uphold every day. Perseverance, aspiration, and a strong belief in the potential of every student.
“We couldn’t be prouder of them all.”
