Set in Tregonce Barn, overlooking fields rolling down to the Camel Valley with Rock and Padstow beyond, the evening has sold out for the past four years.
Charity vice-patron Nathan Outlaw and his executive chef Pete Biggs will cook the main course, while daughter Jessica Outlaw will prepare the dessert course. Keeping it in the family, Mitch Tonks and head chef son Ben will cook the starter and intermediate courses.
“We’re incredibly grateful to these gifted chefs, as well as Rick Stein’s talented volunteer front-of-house team, for choosing to support the Fishermen’s Mission,” said regional fundraising manager Julian Waring.
“We’re so thankful to them for taking time out from running their restaurants to help us raise funds and awareness. People like Nathan and Mitch make our work possible.
“We are also grateful to the family from Trevear Farm for gifting their space at Tregonce Barn once again, helping us to create another magical night.”
Guests will be served a drink and canapes on arrival. The evening will be hosted by Daphne Skinnard DL with live entertainment and a fun auction with David Lay.
Tickets cost £125, and as all chefs and volunteers give their time and skills free of charge, every penny spent through tickets and auction purchases will go towards supporting active and retired fishermen and their families. The Fishermen’s Mission’s services include financial, practical and welfare support, 24/7 emergency response for fishermen who are taken ill or have an accident at sea, and support for the families of fishermen lost at sea.
Only a third of places remain. Tickets can be purchased in the Shop section at www.fishermensmission.org.uk.
