PRIMARY school pupils have helped to freshen up a play park in their village.
Pupils and staff from Mevagissey Community Primary School joined Cornwall councillor James Mustoe in giving some of the play equipment at the Valley Road Park a new coat of paint.
Cormac provided the paint and brushes for the work, and staff and Year 5 and 6 pupils, who chose the colours, put in a shift with a great deal of enthusiasm.
Volunteers Jeremy Roberts and Helen Hereward helped Cllr Mustoe to finish the work after the pupils and staff had to return to the school.
