Police are seeking the public’s help to trace a 31-year-old man who is believed to be in the Helston, Falmouth or Redruth areas of Cornwall.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: "Daniel Shaw is wanted in connection to a report of assault.

"Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

"Shaw is described as a white male, around 5ft 8in tall, with short, grey-ish brown hair and brown stubble. He is of a stocky, heavy build."

They added: "Shaw has a strong West Midlands accent."

Anyone who sees Shaw is asked not to approach him and to call police on 999 immediately, quoting log number 467 of 25 July 2023.
