POLICE are appealing for witnesses and footage following a road rage assault in Stithians.

An incident took place on Foundry Hill between 4.30pm and 4.35pm on Friday, August 29, involving the drivers of a black Ford panel van and a white Ford Ranger.

It was reported that the Ford Ranger driver pulled the other driver from his car and assaulted him after the two vehicles met at a traffic calming point. The victim suffered minor injuries and a dent to his van.
