POLICE officers investigating a suspected Camborne arson attack in which two cars were destroyed have issued an image of a male they would like to identify.

The incident happened in St Meriadoc Road at around 3.30am on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Police were called to the scene by the fire service which tackled the blaze.

A man aged in his 50s has previously been arrested on suspicion of arson and released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Officers would now like to find and speak to the person pictured – who is yet to be identified – as he may have information which could help the investigation.

Police Constable Emily Wood said: “Our investigation is continuing into this incident and we are specifically looking to identify the male pictured as part of these enquiries.

“We recognise the image is not of the best quality, but would urge anyone who may recognise this individual – or who may have seen someone of this appearance in the area at the time of the incident – to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the force website or by calling 101 and quoting reference 50250298224.
