Roche business applies for licence

A ROCHE based business has submitted an application to the Traffic Commissioner seeking permission to site vehicles and use a property as an ‘operating centre’ from which the vehicles will be based.

S A Udy Ltd, of Oaklands, Cleers, Roche, PL26 8ND has applied to use West Shalimar, Victoria, Roche, Cornwall, PL26 8LT as an operators centre for three goods vehicles.

Owners and occupiers of land near the centres who believe their use and enjoyment of the land will be impacted by the proposals are invited to send representations to both the Traffic Commissioner and the applicant at the listed address within 21 days of January 21.

Pasty shop applies for alcohol licence

A CORNISH pasty could soon come with a pint in proposals submitted to Cornwall Council for a property in Marazion.

Philps Bakery Ltd has applied to the authority seeking a premises licence to legally sell alcohol at their trading premises, located on Market Place.

If the application is approved, it would permit the sale of alcohol to be consumed off of the premises on Mondays to Sundays between 8am and 6pm.

Anyone wishing to make representations is invited to do so before February 4 with the details of how to do so available on the Public Notice Portal.

Vehicle licence plans submitted

A BODMIN based ground works business has submitted proposals to use a property as an operating centre for one goods vehicle.

Kev Davey, trading as Duchy Groundworks of 65 Queens Crescent, Bodmin, PL31 1QP has applied to the traffic commissioner for the licence to use 1 Bodiniel Cottage, Bodmin, PL31 2PF as the operating centre for the vehicle.
