PUBLIC notices cover a range of applications, ranging from licensing applications for liqueur or entertainment to planning applications, roadworks and other works. Their intention is to inform communities of the latest plans in their area and such applications are considered for approval or refusal by local authorities. Here are some of the latest applications submitted to Cornwall Council.
Premises licence applications
PERRANPORTH: AN application for the granting of a premises licence has been applied for for a venue in Perranporth.
Daisy Jones submitted a licence application for the granting of a new premises licence for their venue at Crib, 5 St. Pirans Road, Perranporth, TR6 0BH.
If granted, it would permit the sale of alcohol to be consumed off premises.
As part of the present requirements for the licensing of the sale and consumption of alcohol, businesses are required to advertise their proposals in a local newspaper in order that residents can be informed and make representations in respect of it.
Any interested party or responsible authority to this application may do so by writing to Licensing Team, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Truro, TR1 3AY or email [email protected] on or before December 16, 2025.
Vehicle licence applications
ROCHE: M.Way and Son Transport Ltd of Pathfields Business Park, South Molton, Devon, EX363LH. has applied for an amendment for a goods vehicle licence.
It is seeking to keep an extra two goods vehicles and two trailers at the operating centre at Stuarts Truck & Bus, Victoria Business Park, Roche, St Austell, Cornwall, PL26 8LX.
Representations concerning this must be sent to Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE within 21 days of November 26, with a copy also sent to the applicant at the above address.
New speed limits
Cornwall Council has made an order implementing a reduction of speed limits on a number of roads in Nansledan.
20mph Speed Limit: Bownder Calogrenant; Bownder Kay; Bownder Karleghyon; Bownder Mellyagaunce; Plen Eglos; Plen Tennyson; Rosva Las Kay; Rew Tregwestek; Stret An Varghas; Stret Bre Wartha; Stret Galahad; Stret Gawain; Stret Gwynnuwer; Stret Euther Penndragon; Stret Myghtern Arthur; Stret Meynji; Stret Pelyas.
30mph Speed Limit: Stret Merdhin.
