VIVANT Care have announced that planning permission has been granted for its second care home, to be built in Carbis Bay in west Cornwall.
Headlands will offer 60 generously sized, en-suite bedrooms and suites within a setting where care is delivered with genuine warmth and attention to individual needs.
Located on Headland Road, with views over Carbis Bay, the new development builds on the momentum of Bayards Courts – Vivant Care’s first home, due to open in Dartmouth in spring 2026.
Sarah Clarke-Kuehn, chief operating officer at Vivant Care, said: “This marks an exciting step forward for Vivant Care. Our vision is to create places where people can continue to enjoy meaningful moments, feel connected, and live each day with purpose and joy. Headlands will reflect that vision in every detail.”
Plans include beautifully designed communal spaces, landscaped gardens overlooking the bay, and interiors that promote comfort and independence. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with further details to be shared in due course.
Vivant Care is part of the Sanctuary Care family, who have been delivering trusted care for over 25 years.
