LOCAL historian, photograph collector and Voice reader Barrie Doney has no shortage of pictures and stories from Cornwall’s past, which he shares with Voice Newspaper readers every week. This week’s photograph shows a commemoration plate created to mark VE Day. Barrie says of this photograph: “From the celebrations of last week we must remember that 70-85 million lives were lost in WW2.
