LOCAL historian, photograph collector and Voice reader Barrie Doney has no shortage of pictures and stories from Cornwall’s past, which he shares with Voice Newspaper readers every week. This week’s photograph takes us to a historic picture of the Fowey Rattler. Barrie says of this photograph: "This is the Fowey Rattler on its journey from Lostwithiel to St.Blazey via Golant and Fowey. In the background can be seen the Viaduct at Miiltown. “The line was closed to passenger trains in 1965.” ( )
