AFTER some very welcome rain the weather will be slightly better for the weekend.
This weekend is the Newquay Ladies County Pilot Gig Championships and 90 crews are expected. Hopefully there will be light winds.
Octopus have moved on now. There are only the odd one or two being caught. On the odd day a few mackerel are being caught. There are still a few Cornish King crabs inshore, but not for much longer. They will move into deep water in the next few weeks. This Saturday Straightfire are playing at Newquay Rowing Club at 9pm.
Thought for the Week: “Focus on solutions, not problems”.
