A new mural has been created to help brighten up the walk down to a Newquay beach.

Artist Charlie Pross painted a colourful scene along the side of the Walkabout in Beach Road leading to Towan Beach.

The mural, which was funded by the Walkabout, has been created in collaboration with Newquay BID and follows his mural at the back of C-Space.

BID manager Mark Warren said: “Discovered through our Door Trail, this talented artist has transformed what was once a dated, heavily tagged wall into a fresh, vibrant piece with a seriously cool surf vibe.

“It’s amazing to see how creativity can completely reimagine a space, turning something tired into something the whole community can enjoy.

“Newquay does not have an art gallery. The town centre is our gallery.”
