A Newquay charity has received a helping hand after a new member joined the team.

Jed Salmon has joined the pride of the Newquay Towan Blystra Lions, which has taken its membership to 38.

He has been keenly helping his dad Tony and Tony’s wife Sue who joined the club during the last year. They have been marshalling events and attending planning and business meetings. Jed has also been assisting in the collation of artwork for the programme for this year’s Newquay Beer Festival which the club run and which will take place at Hendra Holiday Park from September 19 to 21.

Jed, who has been sponsored by his father, recently received his Newquay Towan Blystra Lions membership from president Jon Collins.
