Visitors to Newquay Harbour have new benches to sit on to watch the coming and goings from the quayside. 

Five new benches funded by the Newquay Regeneration Forum, which donated the money from the remainder of its community fund shortly before it stopped operating. 

Kimberley Johnson, Newquay Harbour Master, said: “These benches will encourage members of the community and visitors to enjoy everything that there is to see in the harbour.” 

Loïc Rich, the chairman of Cornwall Harbours’ Harbour Board, added: “These new benches are a great addition to Newquay Harbour."

I would like to thank our harbourmaster Kim for her hard work in bringing about these, and other improvements, on the quay.”
