ANOTHER very hot week ahead. The weather is almost like 50 years ago in 1976. The settled spell of weather continues.
It was a good Newquay Lifeboat Day on Saturday and Harbour Sports on Sunday. It was great to see three Harbour Rats taking part in the sculling race. It is very busy in the harbour and in the town now. This Saturday is the Silver Gig race, starting with the juniors at 5pm while the ladies event starts at 6pm and the men’s race at 7pm.
There is no band performing this Saturday at Newquay Rowing Club.
Thought for the Week: “Trust is like a glass, once broken, it’s never the same.”
