A GRAND parade was staged as the culmination of the St Dennis Carnival Week which consisted of eight days of activities for all ages at venues around the Clay Country village.

The week included a children’s darts tournament, a drag queen competition, children’s sports, It’s A Knockout contests, a village quiz, bingo, music with the St Dennis Band, a walking treasure hunt, a food face-off, a euchre tournament, a family race night, and an evening of music with the Imerys Mid Cornwall Male Choir and children from St Dennis Primary Academy. To add to the fun, there was also a pets parade and trolly dash.

The hard-working village carnival committee has been praised for organising such a successful and fun-filled week.
