FILM audiences will be treated to an exclusive preview of romantic fantasy Eternity at cinemas across Cornwall on Monday and Tuesday [December 1 and 2], ahead of its official cinema release on Friday, December 5.
Described as The Notebook meets Ghost with a festive twist, Eternity offers a vision of love in the afterlife, where souls have one week to choose where - and with whom - to spend forever.
When Joan reunites with her late husband Larry, she discovers her first love Luke has been waiting 67 years for her, forcing her to choose between the life she lived and the one she never had.
Directed by David Freyne (Dating Amber), Eternity stars Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller and Callum Turner alongside Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
Participating cinemas include Bodmin, Falmouth, Newlyn, Penzance, Redruth, St Austell and Truro. Tickets are free; visit escapetothecinema.co.uk/tickets or the Escapes Cinematik app.
Since launching in February 2024, Escapes has brought audiences back to independent cinemas across the UK, with more than 180,000 free tickets claimed to date. Made possible by the BFI awarding National Lottery funding, its diverse programme spans cult classics such as Point Break alongside exclusive previews of upcoming releases such as The Penguin Lessons.
