PORTHLEVEN Food Festival returns from Friday, April 24 to Sunday, April 26, for a vibrant weekend of food, drink and entertainment.
Hosted in collaboration with chef-patron Jude Kereama, of Kota and Kota Kai, the free-to-attend event promises a packed schedule of live chef demonstrations in the Chef’s Theatre.
Highlights include Redruth-born, Knightsbridge-based Tom Brown, recently awarded a Michelin star; Paul Welburn of Bodmin restaurant Fern; Hylton Espey of Culture in Falmouth; Olivia Barry of Adelina Yard, Bristol; Rose Cant, better known as food writer Mum on Muddy Lane; and seasoned celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson.
New for 2026 is The Chef’s Table presented by Sharp’s Brewing Co, an intimate food and drink masterclass venue offering opportunities to deepen one’s appreciation of food in small group settings with top chefs including Stephane Delourme, Henk de Villiers and Guy Owen, and learn new skills including oyster shucking, fish filleting, wine tasting and knife skills. The ever-popular Comedy Roast blends a delicious two-course roast dinner with performances from Cornish comedians Matt Price, Tom Glover and rising star Tom Rodgers; and Naughty Nonna is hosting two unforgettable Supper Club dining experiences full of flavour and personality, served family style with plates piled high, on Friday and Saturday. For something truly magical, on Sunday visitors can even have lunch with the mermaids.
By night, the Evening Sessions live music takes centre stage, with performances from Joey The Lips and Good Ol’Fashioned Lover Boys, plus free daytime music all weekend long. And for the festival’s youngest visitors, The Moors Village Fair offers a brand-new family-friendly area.
