PLANS are being drawn up to stage a popular arts festival in Newquay.

The Nansledan Arts Festival will have a Fiesta theme and is being staged at venues between June 13 and 20.

Events being organised include an art trail, workshops, competitions, a circus performance, comedy, music and will finish with renowned folk-Americana international band, Track Dogs at St Michael’s Church on June 20.

Liz Hutchinson from Nansledan Arts festival said: “The festival was launched just three years ago and is going from strength to strength.

“Track Dogs are known for their sunshiny songs and irresistible rhythms. They dabble in various genres including folk, bluegrass, Americana and blues.

“Their music and the Nansledan Arts Festival have something for everyone to enjoy and celebrate. Tickets are on sale now.”
