Emergency services were called out after a man was injured coasteering at the Gazzle in Newquay on Saturday afternoon.
Newquay RNLI, Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team and South Western Ambulance Service were tasked to assist the casualty who had sustained a dislocated shoulder at about 4.30pm.
Both inshore lifeboats were launched with a paramedic crew member onboard Newquay's Atlantic 85.
The casualty was recovered by the lifeboat crew and transported to the harbour before being handed over to the ambulance crew.
The charity's D class lifeboat was called out again later in the evening after a speedboat came loose from its mooring at the River Gannel at 8.20pm and was in danger of causing a hazard.
The volunteers secured the speedboat back on to a mooring line and returned to the lifeboat station around 8.30pm where she was made ready for service.
