School celebrates strongest A Level results in a decade

TRURO School’s class of 2026 achieved the establishment’s strongest A -Level results in over a decade.

Twenty-three per cent of grades awarded were at A*, 50 per cent at A*/A, 80 per cent at A*-B and an overall pass rate of 100 per cent.

Success is being celebrated across the disciplines, and in additional qualifications including the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Leiths and PE Cambridge Technicals.

Students are progressing to quality courses at leading universities, including English, geology, interior design, law, medicine, midwifery, music, sports management and veterinary science.

Headmaster Andy Johnson said: “These results are exceptional. What makes me particularly proud are individual journeys, with the breadth and diversity of ambition and excellence they show, and that we value and celebrate today.”
