A SOCIAL club in Newquay is hosting a darts tournament with the aim of making as much money for charity as possible.

The Newquay Ladies Darts League is staging a charity day at the Belmont Club in aid of Cornwall's Children's Hospice on Saturday, June 20 at 1pm.

All abilities are welcome to take part in the evening darts tournament, which will have a £50 prize for the winner.

Bingo and a quiz will be held at 2pm. There will also be a raffle, auction, cakes and refreshments.

Nikki Tims, who is helping to organise the event, said: “Everyone is welcome, so bring along friends and family and help us raise money for Cornwall's Children's Hospice.

“Together we can make a difference while enjoying a great day out.
