DAVID MCNALLY, 39, of Trevose Road, Truro pleaded guilty at Truro Crown Court to, at St Austell, attempting to rape a girl aged under 13, inciting an eight-year-old girl to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity by masturbating him, sexually touching a 12-year-old girl and raping a girl aged under 13 by penetrating her mouth with his penis. He was sent to prison for 15 years and was made subject to a restraining order not to contact two females until further notice.

DANIEL SNELL, 35, of Kingdon Way, Holsworthy pleaded guilty to, at Bude, penetrating the vagina of a girl aged 14 or 15 with his penis on at least ten occasions. He was sent to prison for four years and made subject to a restraining order not to contact his victim until 4 September 2031.

JAMIE FIELD, 34, of Alseveor Road, St Austell pleaded guilty at Truro Crown Court to assaulting a man at Platinum Way, Trevemper, Newquay on 14 April but not guilty to, on the same day at Kittiwake Road, Trevemper, sending an electronic message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character and not guilty to stealing a mobile phone from the address. He was remanded in custody and his case adjourned until 15 September.

NATHAN HUGHES, 31, of NFA, St Dennis pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man on 2 September. His case was adjourned until 5 October and he was released on conditional bail not to enter the village of St Dennis or contact his alleged victim.

STEVEN BAKER, 49, of West Lane, Landrake pleaded not guilty at Truro Crown Court to, between 4 and 7 August at Landrake, assaulting a woman occasioning her actual bodily harm and, on 5 August at Meldon Caravan Park, Landrake assaulting two police officers. His trial was fixed for 26 April and he was released on conditional bail not to contact his alleged victim and he must live and sleep at his Landrake address.

WILLIAM MACTAVISH, 37, of School Hill, Wookey Hole pleaded not guilty at Truro Crown Court to strangling a woman at Looe on 21 January. His trial was fixed for 1 February and he was released on conditional bail not to enter an area at Plashford Bridge, Looe or contact his alleged victim.

RUSSEL ANSARY, 37, of Noweth Place, Falmouth pleaded guilty at Truro Crown Court to, on or about 27 April 2024, using or threatening violence towards other persons at St Austell. He will be sentenced on 8 October.

CHRISTOPHER HALEY, 41, of NFA, was made subject to a 28-day domestic violence protection notice on 7 September not to contact or threaten a woman or enter Fore Street, Bugle.

DAVID COON, 64, of Belmont Road, St Austell admitted breaching a domestic violence protection notice at Falmouth on 9 September by entering the town and contacting a woman which he was prohibited from doing by an order made on 29 August. He was sent to prison for 42 days because it was his third breach of a domestic violence order in three months.

ROXANNA LESEAN, 21, of Grosvenor Avenue, Newquay changed her plea to guilty at Truro Crown Court on a charge of, on 6 July at Newquay, possessing cocaine with intent to supply. Sentence was adjourned.

ALEXANDER COOK, 21, of Nankelly Cottage, Newquay pleaded guilty to driving on St Thomas Road, Newquay on 13 March with 36 micrograms of Ketamine per litre of blood exceeding the limit of 20. He was fined £750 and ordered to pay a £502 surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 14 months.

ALAN BOYLING, 48, of Trerank Farm, Roche changed his plea to guilty on a charge of driving a Massey Ferguson tractor on Carnego Lane, Summercourt on 10 May with 109 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath exceeding the limit of 35. Sentence was adjourned.

64 DYMOND COURT, BODMIN was served with a three-month closure order on 6 September which includes all external garden areas.

ANDREW REED, 57, of Boxwell Park, Bodmin pleaded guilty to driving on the A39 at St Columb on 7 January without completing the appropriate tests and to not using a tachograph driver card. He was fined £632 and ordered to pay a £253 surcharge and £89 costs.

J ORCHARD CONSTRUCTION LTD of Woods Browning Industrial Estate, Bodmin has been fined £660 for permitting a person to drive on the A39 at St Columb on 7 January without having completed required tests and for breaching a tachograph offence. The company has to pay a £264 surcharge and £681 costs.
