A MAN who entered a property in Newquay armed with a taser and a cosh has been sent to prison for 10 years.

Jason Paget, 39, of The Parklands, Erdington, was said to have been one of three men who forced their way into a flat on Chester Road on September 10, 2020.

The other two members of the “gang” have not been identified or caught.

He changed his plea to guilty at Truro Crown Court to entering a flat in what was described as a planned raid with a taser and a cosh as a burglar and inflicting grievous bodily harm on its occupant and assaulting a second man occasioning him actual bodily harm.

Judge James Adkin issued the sentence.

Paget was sent to prison for ten years.
