Organisers of the Golowan Festival have announced that this year’s theme will be “Golowan Celebrates Our Town, Our Planet” (Golowan a wool agan tre, agan norvys).

They said: “This theme has been chosen to reflect the power of our community and how it comes together in appreciation of what makes it special and what really matters. 

“Nothing in this world exists in isolation, however, and as part of the greater community – our planet – Golowan has, over the years, demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

“The theme this year, therefore, reflects that continued commitment and invites everyone taking part to share their appreciation and love for all our community – local, national, and international.”

The popular festival will take place between Friday, June 16 and Sunday, June 25, with Mazey Day on Saturday, June 24.
