A YOUNG Cornish actor has been named in The Sunday Times Young Power List 2026.
Lox Pratt, who is 14 and trained at the Jason Thomas Performing Arts school in Truro, is described as “one of Britain’s most promising young acting talents”.
He was seen most recently in the role of Jack in the BBC adaptation of Lord of the Flies and is set to reach a huge new audience after being cast as Draco Malfoy in HBO’s forthcoming Harry Potter television series.
He is one of 30 inspiring young people including chart-topping musicians, world-class athletes, rising political figures, entrepreneurs and cultural stars. Familiar names include Brit Award-winning musician Raye, England and Arsenal striker Alessia Russo, Britain’s youngest ever Formula 1 driver Arvid Lindblad, Reform council leader George Finch and actress, model and disability campaigner (and Strictly star) Ellie Goldstein.
The 30 winners are chosen by Sunday Times editors and The Young Power List 2026 takes over The Sunday Times Magazine this weekend.
Hannah Swerling, The Sunday Times Commissioning Editor, said: “The rules of success are being rewritten by a new generation of British talent. Our Young Power List winners are fighting for social change, building thriving businesses, breaking sporting records and lighting up the world stage. All 30 are at the forefront of a new era of British excellence.”
