The Bodmin Way Community Choir is starting its second year today.

The all-age, all-ability community choir has given a number of performances in the past 12 months, including singing at the Bodmin Lights Switch On, as well as on Mount Folly, in a pub and at St Petroc’s Church.

This autumn the choir will be meeting for practices on Wednesdays from 5pm to 6pm in St Petroc’s Parish Centre and new members are welcome.

The choir will also be hosting two musical events on Saturday, October 28.

In the afternoon, seven members of the Callington Community Gospel Choir will run a workshop in the centre. Anyone is welcome to go along.

Those attending will be invited to sing a couple of songs learnt at an evening concert in St Petroc’s Church at 7pm.

Tickets for the workshop and concert are available online at bodminway.org/box-office
